A decent warranty is an important thing to consider when buying a new car because it helps with your peace of mind to truly enjoy your new vehicle. With the impressive Mitsubishi 10 year/200,000 km* New Car Warranty and a 5 year Perforation Warranty, you’ll experience worry free motoring well into the future. It’s complimentary with your purchase giving you more faith in the reliability of every new Mitsubishi.

*Mitsubishi’s standard New Car Warranty is 5 years/100,000 km (whichever occurs first). You may also be eligible for an extended New Car Warranty up to 10 years/200,000 km if you’ve had all scheduled services done through the authorised Mitsubishi Motors Dealer Network. Some customers excluded such as Government, Taxis, Rentals and National Business.

Mitsubishi’s standard 5 year/100,000 km Warranty is complimentary with every new Mitsubishi. But your vehicle may even be eligible for the 10 year/200,000 km extended New Car Warranty at no extra cost*. The Warranty applies to the original components that have not been modified or altered from the manufacturer’s specifications. Modifying your vehicle or installing parts and accessories which are not approved by Mitsubishi Motors will not void your warranty. However, if a modified part needs replacing or causes damage to other components, this will not be covered.

All Mitsubishi warranties, including the New Car Warranty and Roadside Assist, are transferred to whoever owns the vehicle. It’s best to contact any Mitsubishi Motors Dealer to confirm which warranties your vehicle has.

Check the service record in your Service and Warranty Booklet to make sure all services have been done when they are supposed to. If you’re not sure about the service history, contact an Authorised Mitsubishi Dealer and arrange to have the vehicle inspected. You should let us know when you have taken ownership of a Mitsubishi vehicle by completing and returning the Notice of Change of Address or Ownership in the back of your Service and Warranty Booklet.

Our electric and hybrid vehicles are backed by the same warranties as our other vehicles.

One difference is the warranty for the traction battery, which has an 8 year or 160,000 km*# coverage.
