A decent warranty is an important thing to consider when buying a new car because it helps with your peace of mind to truly enjoy your new vehicle. Mitsubishi’s standard 5 year/100,000 km Warranty is complimentary with every new Mitsubishi. But your vehicle may even be eligible for the 10 year/200,000 km extended New Car Warranty at no extra cost*. This is all part of our commitment to your driving pleasure and just one of the many reasons that Mitsubishi is set apart from others.

The Warranty applies to the original components that have not been modified or altered from the manufacturer’s specifications. Modifying your vehicle or installing parts and accessories which are not approved by Mitsubishi Motors will not void your warranty. However, if a modified part needs replacing or causes damage to other components, this will not be covered.

All Mitsubishi warranties, including the New Car Warranty and Roadside Assist, are transferred to whoever owns the vehicle. It’s best to contact any Mitsubishi Motors Dealer to confirm which warranties your vehicle has.

Check the service record in your Service and Warranty Booklet to make sure all services have been done when they are supposed to. If you’re not sure about the service history, contact an Authorised Mitsubishi Dealer and arrange to have the vehicle inspected. You should let us know when you have taken ownership of a Mitsubishi vehicle by completing and returning the Notice of Change of Address or Ownership in the back of your Service and Warranty Booklet.

– Roadside Assist will remain with the vehicle so that the new owner is covered. The new owner will then be eligible to receive the Club Membership when they get the vehicle serviced next, as per the Mitsubishi Capped Price Service program.

– You'll still have the Club Membership and its benefits for the rest of the 12 months, however you will not have Roadside Assistance.

Your Mitsubishi should be serviced according to the recommended regular service tables. However, more frequent servicing may be required, depending on the driving conditions. Find out your vehicle’s Maintenance and Inspection Schedule here.  

Our electric and hybrid vehicles are backed by the same warranties as our other vehicles.One difference is the warranty for the traction battery, which has an 8 year or 160,000 km*# coverage.
